So many times we are told that we are not enough or that who we are doesn't matter. In ROCKET QUEEN we see what happens when someone is able to realize they don't have to be perfect to soar. All they have to do is be the best of themselves.

Through the main character Wren author Julianna Morgan delivers a story of a girl dealing with her own imperfections as well as the challenges that come with life and especially youth. There are challenges for sure, but that doesn't take away her ability to want more and to be more.

I like the way we are given the anti-hero in many ways. Wren is not someone that you would think of as being able to make a difference or BE the difference for others, but that is what makes her so real. That is what makes her us.

A book that is entertaining, relatable and makes you long for being the best of yourself, ROCKET QUEEN reminds us that we don't have to be perfect to soar in life. It all just begins with the decision to fly.
